What came in

A short record of money arriving — deliberately not your group's books. It exists to answer the question the grant list raises and can't settle: the award you were promised, did it actually turn up? A grant page will tell you "£3,500 of £4,000 received" once you've recorded the payments, which usually just means it's paid in instalments — and it will say so if more arrived than expected, which is worth checking rather than celebrating.

Each entry can be linked to a grant, an event, both or neither. Both is a real case: a funder match-funding your summer fair is one payment against two things.

Totals are shown by tax year, which runs 6 April to 5 April rather than the calendar year — that's what your treasurer will be asked for. Cash and contactless entries are flagged, because those are the only ones the Small Donations Scheme can cover.
