Sharing a summary with your District
A District's trustee board is there to support its Groups' boards. Each Group can choose to share a summary of its board with its District, and the District sees every Group that does on its Our Groups page, with the ones needing attention first.
What the District sees. Counts and dates only: whether the AGM was held, and if not when it's due by; whether the accounts have been examined and approved; whether there's a Chair and a Treasurer; how many trustees are past nine years in their role or haven't declared they're eligible; how many responsibilities are overdue; when the board last met; and the learning and DBS figures a leader has chosen to share from Leader Compliance. It never sees anybody's name, conflicts of interest, minutes, risks or documents.
Starting to share. Somebody who leads in Trustees on the District board makes a code on Our Groups. Somebody who leads in Trustees at the Group enters it in Settings, under Your District. A code works once, for one Group, for 14 days.
Stopping. The Group can stop sharing at any time in Settings. The District then sees the Group's name and nothing else. The District can't switch sharing on or off for a Group.
Kit is separate. If your Group is already linked to its District in Quartermaster, sharing your Trustees summary doesn't change what the District sees of your kit, and sharing your kit doesn't share anything from Trustees.
Who pays. Our Groups is part of the paid plan for the District. Sharing is free for the Group.
