What the warnings mean

Nine years. An appointed or co-opted trustee, Chair and Treasurer included, can hold the same role on the same board for no more than nine years (POR 5b). Trustees warns a year ahead, and in red once passed. It doesn't apply to the Lead Volunteer or Youth Lead.

Eligibility is red when missing: a trustee must be eligible before acting. “Being a Scouts Trustee” and the learning everyone needs are amber, as are a missing induction after the first month and no annual review in a year.

The board as a whole is flagged with no Chair or no Treasurer.
